Saturday Morning Stroll after Stormy Night

 Mom took us for a long walk this morning but it got hot so we had to play in Copper Creek pond to cool off.  Here we are at the end of the boat ramp, we don't do the swimming thing, just cool off our bellies.

 Thor tried to shake off the water but it doesn't work well, when he is still in the water!!!

Mama said, this is all of the exercise she can handle.  Sleeping on the boys bed!

Thursday evening stroll at the Iowa State Fairgrounds Flower Garden

Mom took us for a walk at the Iowa State Fairgrounds - We got pretty hot but she wouldn't let us play in this little pond. Something about eating Goldfish!  We wouldn't eat Goldfish, or maybe we would!  The flowers were gorgeous but Mom said they didn't need any water from us?  What does she know???

It's a beautiful 60 degree morning so I thought the boys would love to run/walk at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Little did I know it's almost impossible to run while dragging two dogs away from pork poo piles and remove some kind of pork bones out of Marco Polo's throat while running!

It finally stopped raining so Mom took us over to Gray's Lake, we saw some other Siberian Huskies, then we hiked down to Ball Park, saw the dam where the Des Moines and Raccoon River meet. It's really high with all of the rain, part of our trail was under water! We got to watch silly dogs swimming in the lake but we didn't cause we really don't like water that much!

Thor and I got to go wading in the flood water at Gray's Lake then we had to roll in the wet grass. 


The Trail is hiding somewhere under this water and this feels really good and cool.

The boys and I had a great 2 lap walk around Gray's Lake this afternoon. Of course, we had major flooding so the dogs got to play in the water. They certainly liked that!

She tricked us into BATHS!!!

After such a wonderful walk, Mom got us tied up to the deck and decided we needed baths!  Here I am, tied up with no place to go while Mom gets the shampoo and turns on the water!  I wish I could hide under the deck!  MP

Mom was so nice this morning and took us for a long long walk in the woods but guess what she did to us when we got home?
