What did Marco Polo DO?

Hello Everyone,
It's Thor and I'm going to tell what's been happening in Iowa. It all started Monday when Mom had a little surgery to remove something from her face it was cancer so after they got it ALL, she had to have plastic surgery to make her cute again but there were complications and she had to go to the emergency room for more surgery and she is fine now - ok she will be in a few more days when all of the swelling is gone but Marco Polo Ate his Crate Mat! Mom just paid $45.00 for 2 weeks ago. Boy is she mad!

Here's our fur-brother and sister Whisper and Taylor, they stayed with us to take care of Mom since Monday. Here we are having a sleep-over.

Here's the Bad Boy - Mom made him stay in his crate because she was so mad at him.

Here I am resting after checking on Mom all night long to make sure she didn't need pain medicine or a kiss from me.

Here's Taylor lying as close as he could get to Mom's chair. He tried to make her feel better too.

Whisper made sure Mom didn't get cold legs while she was sleeping in her chair.

And of course, MrSippi didn't do anything but get on the computer while we were taking care of MOM!

The Cats are still in charge

Meow Meow our Friends
Mom let us be in charge the last couple of days because she's under the weather so here's the games we get to play. Carolina really does love playing with her toys especially after we get into the Catnip, See it on the floor.

Mama actually left her basket view of the outside world to play too.

Well, We really had to tempt her to get her up and playing really.

MrSippi loves playing all of the time, We think that's why he is so skinny compared to us.

Mom thinks I need to on a diet but I think I'm just right, don't You?

Mom is begging us to play and we are playing Sibe games of not looking at her!

That's all for today, this is the executive chair! MrSippi

The Kitty-Kats go walking in the woods

MEOW, Our Kit-Kat Friends,
We decided that Thor and Marco Polo were getting too much photo opportunities and it was our time so we snuck out into the woods and got a really nice Critter to take this picture of us. We had a great time but you can see we had to rest too because it was very very hot out today.

Everyone loves a Parade

Today was such a exciting day. We went to Polk City's Celebration and got to walk in the Parade with our obedience club friends. Here we are before we left the house. Mom didn't get any pics of us during the parade. She said we were a handful, she couldn't take the camera with us.
Then, we were to the school yard and the people had a picnic and we didn't get anything. After that we did obedience, rally and Agility for 3 hours. People came from all over to watch us. Marco Polo learned how to walk on the dog walk but the most exciting thing was, Thor ran agility twice outside for the crowds with no FENCES, He was a very good boy and stayed with Mom. Here he is looking very proud after we got home.

Here is another pic of the grown-up well-behaved Siberian THOR, He comes with he is called.

Mom was so excited because we did so good, we got our Bully Sticks.
If you don't know what they are, ask Lisa the Mean about them.

Here's Marco eating his stick - He loves them.

It's Friday, 3 days with Mom

It's Friday and Mom took us for an early morning walk because it's suppose to rain but it didn't wait until we got home before it started. We didn't care, we like showers. Here we are waiting for the train. Mom says dogs can't ride on trains, I don't know why.

I tried really hard to catch that Ground Hog, he was huge but we couldn't find him.
Which way did he go Marco Polo? I guess he's gone !

Prairie Grasses are great places for little critters to hide. Check out every little spot.

The boys were positive there was a critter in here somewhere.

Marco Polo loves to watch the ducks swimming. All of the babies are as big as their parents now.

It's getting hot as soon as it quit raining, time to go home.

Mom said she is sorry, she was just playing with the photoshop software and won't do it again.

What happened tonight instead of training

Our training club has Thursday night lessons at the Iowa State Fairgrounds during the summer and Mom took us over there so I could practice my heeling but we got there early and decided to check out the flower garden that's growing awesomely because of all of the rain we had. Here we are checking out the secret tunnels.
Then we went inside of the train looking for critters?

We checked out the Club House.

Mom caught us walking over the brook bridge.

Here we are outside of the little Garden Shed.

And Here we are with some beautiful flowers. WAIT A Minute - I think Mom photoshopped us into one of these pictures. She said she was going to make us look at the camera! MOM!!!

Wednesday Specialness

Hello Everyone

It's Thor and Marco Polo on the Wednesday Special Blog. We always love Wednesdays because Mom works from home and we get to go special places. We hadn't been to Saylorville Lake since the big flood but Mom was positive it was back open. Check it out - She was wrong - Our great place for walking is still closed, Darn it! But the bike trail is open so we did get to walk 4 1/2 miles before it got too hot.
Here we are ignoring Mom's pleads for pictures.

Here we are resting by the new river caused by the floods. should it be called Saylorville River or Over the Top River? It was hot so we got very very tired. I am sleeping and Marco is making faces.

This is our public service annoucement. You can see Mom has us loaded back in our crates for the trip home. Make sure when you travel in the car that you parents put you in a safe crate or seatbelt. We lost our golden friend when their Mom had an accident and the dogs were riding loose in the front seat. Our Friend flew out the window and was run-over. We miss our Friend a lot.

Here's the second half of our great Wednesday. We got to go to Stew Hansen's so Mom could get the Husky-mobile serviced. We got to meet lots of great people and get great treats.

Here we are in the waiting room with a TV and Everything. We visited with all of the other customers. They all loved us.

Here we are practicing not looking at the camera for Mom again!

After our long walk and visiting all of the customers, we were exhausted so we had to take a nap.

Here I am checking out the bill for Mom, I think they got it right so she can pay it to get the husky-mobile back to us.

Hope everyone had a great Wednesday too.

Thor Does Agility in Omaha

On Sunday, in jumpers novice class, Thor did the impossible, he got his first ever Novice Jumpers Leg. Here's the video and you can see how fast he was, 18 seconds under course time.

Here's our second run on Sunday in the standard course, You can see we need to work on contacts so he doesn't jump off of all of them but he did awesome weaves.

Polk County Fair

Carolina is very very tired because it stormed all night - here she is trying to rest.

Mama likes to set in the window and watch Mom work and keep track of what's happening outside of her window too. Those pesky squirrels come right up to the window and look at her!.

Mom made us sit and stay and watch all of those Angus Cows heading to the show ring.

Here we are watching those big black cows walk right by us, NOT FAIR!

What is this? Are we coming or going - The Rhino has no clue either!

Marco showing up to this silly horse that is trying to look like Thor, all white!

Here's the barn where all of the 4-H Kids animals are. We saw cows, pigs, lambs, and chickens. Mom said this was as close as we could get.

Come on Thor, we can squeeze right through this gate and go visit the chickens, Really!
