Another Beautiful Day at the Iowa State Fairgrounds

Hello Our Friends
Here we are sitting on one of favorite benches at the Iowa State Fair grounds. We want to show you all of the beautiful things, we see there. Gigantic Trees, Beeaauuutiiifull Green Grass, Buildings and critters everywhere.

Mom made us climb up and down the hills at the fairgrounds because Lisa the Mean said I needed more muscle. Here's the hill behind Grandpa's Farm.

We visited the Barber Shop but they weren't open so Marco Polo didn't get his fur cut and thank goodness, neither did I.

Here I am checking out the DNR Park. I think I heard some critter in the middle of the flowers.

What is this. Mom said this is going to full of water with ducks and turtles and lots of other critters during the fair, but we don't get to go to the Fair.

Did you see that? We can't chase it because Mom got mad yesterday, when I chased the rabbit and she lost the Flexi and the keys fell out and we had to crawl under the brushes to find them. Mom was made at us! We must be good today(No paws crossed, honest).

Mom, Let me climb this tree - I need to get that wicked squirrel. He was teasing us, Really!

RWabbies, We saw baby bunnies but that darn flexi kept us from showing them we were the king.

Here we are in front the sign that shows everyone where all of the different places are at the fairgrounds. Mom managed to catch us looking at her, but it doesn't count, she said the COOKIE word.

Mom said in this brand new building last year, they had baby cows, chickens, rabbits, lambs being born while people watched. This is one huge building.

Marco Polo and I checked out Stormy and Dave's pictures from yesterday and see what we learned from them? I think we did good?

Thanks for the tour. I've never been to a fairground so now I know what to expect.

That last picture ROCKS! Way to go!
Did your mom give you a cookie after she said the word? If not, keep that in mind. Ours tricks us like that sometimes.
You look like you could have climbed RIGHT up that tree! ha roo!

Shucks, we never see any squirrels in our yard, as a matter of fact, we don't have a very big tree in our yard either. But I did try to snag a dead squirrel on the road the other night - Mom yanked hard on my leash - sheesh!!!!

Cookie, did woo say cookie?

Ooh, we think that your Wicked Squirrel may be related to our Evil Squirrel. They are very sneaky, those squirrels.
